Kettlebell Training

This course is offered to existing instructors who wish to improve their knowledge & skills to enable them to deliver Kettlebell training sessions.In the Kettlebell 1 day workshop you will learn how to make your client perform and function better. Kettlebell techniques are taught which will give you the edge over other trainers in client performance. The course is the most in depth course in Kettlebell training for fitness & sports performance.Not only will participants learn to use and teach others how to use Kettlebells, they will be given a better understanding of how their bodies work whilst performing each exercise.

Suspension Training

This 1 day workshop is offered to existing instructors who wish to improve their knowledge and skills. Enabling them to deliver Suspension training sessions such as TRX, Rip 60 etc. It is also relevant for those already running such sessions without a current certificate. The course is the most in depth course in Suspension training for fitness & sports performance. Not only will participants learn to use & teach others to use Suspension equipment,they will be given a better understanding of how their bodies work during exercise.

Indoor Cycling

Academy One Presents the Indoor Cycling 1 day workshop. Learn how to choreograph and maximise the intensity of your class with the latest spin moves and motivation techniques. A variation of spin moves so you can deliver a creative Group Indoor Cycling (spinning) session. It is also relevant for those already running such sessions without a current certificate. The course will also develop you into a competent and confident level to plan and instruct indoor cycling group sessions. Covering subjects including: How to plan, teach and evaluate a safe and also effective group session; Appropriate health & safety considerations; Cycling approaches & techniques; Also how to set up a class and effective use of music.

Entry Requirements

Candidates for The Academy One CPD workshops must hold a recognised Gym/Fitness instructor qualification
